Sammy Rothfuss has been a ruling elder at Covenant Fellowship Church since October 2022.
He was born in Chicago to an Iraqi mother and a German father. As family they moved to Germany where he was raised. He studied nursing in Germany and has worked at a hemodialysis clinic for the past twenty years. During this time he had a two year break where he studied Intercultural Studies in the US. He holds a Masters degree from Columbia International University in South Carolina.
Through different people and circumstances the Lord has placed in his life, Sammy grew to know and love Reformed theology.
It is his passion to learn more in applying theology and biblical counselling in a cross-cultural setting.
Sammy is married to Bettina since 2006 and has three children: Joel, Grace and Noah.
